Develop your professional arts practice, whether you’re starting out, revisiting ideas, or ready for next steps.

Together with mentors from our local arts and culture scene, we’ll guide you through 7 core sessions covering planning, branding, pricing, marketing and more.

In addition, enjoy access to workshops with OSC, our artist development programme, gaining further support where you need it most. Form an achievable and sustainable plan alongside supportive 50+ peers from our arts community, at TOSH Boscombe.

Course content:

Planning

• Solidify what you do and why you do it
• Establish your offering
• Get your pricing right - for products, services and wholesale
• Identify and reach your ideal customer

Branding

• Review and define your brand values
• Explore your visual identity
• Find your language and find consistency

Marketing

• Discover collaborations and opportunities to reinforce your brand (and make friends along the way!)
• Create content for your audience
• Choose your channels (social media, newsletters, blogs and more)
• Learn how to grow and find the right opportunities for you
• Set your boundaries - time management, planning ahead, and protecting your wellbeing

We’re also able to support you with a fundamentals toolkit - contracts, licensing, invoices and insurance, as well as signposting funding opportunities, and guidance for HMRC Self Assessment and financial management.

Course Fee:

£120 (payable upfront)

We want our courses to be available to all - so please contact us if our fees might prevent you from being able to join us, so that we can seek to support you.

15 attendees selected from applications, based on creative business needs and current level, while creating a diverse practice mix in the cohort.
