Join me for an immersive beginner friendly half-day workshop on Sunday 15th February 12pm - 4pm to create your own stained glass heart suncatcher, personalised with any word of your choice.
These workshops will be held at The Old School House TOSH in Boscombe, which is a beautiful listed building that really lends itself to playing with colour and light.
During our 4 hours together you'll explore the artistry and tradition behind the heritage craft that has illuminated the world for centuries.
You will learn the traditional tiffany style copper foil technique - from cutting and shaping the glass, to soldering and finishing your pieces. All tools and materials are provided to create your own glass heirloom to take away with you.
These hands-on workshops are designed for beginners and seasoned crafters alike. No prior experience is necessary, but a certain amount of dexterity is needed for handling the tools.
Classes are small and relaxed to allow everyone plenty of time for guidance.
Additional workshop information will be sent out via email atleast 48 hours before the event, please keep an eye out for this message as it will include important directions for finding us on the day.
Due to the nature of working (safely) with lead, these workshops are not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding folks, and those under the age of 18.
Makers age 16 or older welcome with a guardian.
If you have any questions regarding suitability, or would like to discuss private group bookings you can drop me a message via the contact page.
