Looking for fun things to do in Bournemouth while meeting new people? Meet & Make is a monthly creative workshop and social event designed for women in their 20s and 30s who want to make friends, explore creativity, and enjoy a relaxed night out.

Each Meet & Make event features a new creative theme and hands-on activity, making it perfect for beginners and experienced creatives alike. Whether you’re interested in arts and crafts, DIY projects, or simply want a unique social experience, this is a welcoming space to connect with like-minded women.
We know making friends as an adult can feel intimidating, especially if you’re coming alone. If you’re feeling nervous, simply reach out before the event and I’ll personally make sure you’re buddied up with other attendees who are coming solo, so you’ll never feel out of place.

The evening begins with a fun, low-pressure game to help everyone mingle naturally, followed by relaxed creative time where you can chat, create, and connect. All materials are provided and no experience is needed.

February Theme: Self Love
For our February event, we’ll be painting and decorating tote bags with uplifting designs, affirmations, and creative self-expression, a perfect way to unwind and take home something meaningful.
You’ll also have the option to join our Meet & Make group chat, a friendly space to stay connected with other like-minded crafters, share creative ideas, and keep building friendships beyond the meet ups.
To keep the experience relaxed and personal, each event has a maximum of 20 attendees.
