You are busy. You are capable. You may be ticking the boxes on paper, but feel lost and perhaps even, hollow. You can't shake the feeling that you are running hard in the wrong direction.
That is what happens when your life is not built around what actually matters to you. It's what happens when you are trapped in decisions, habits and goals defined by things outside of yourself.
Rarely do we stop to ask - what actually matters to me? Not what looks good on paper. Not what we think we should want. What genuinely drives us, at the level of who we are? Most people spend more time planning a holiday than they spend understanding what they genuinely value. Yet our values shape every decision we make, every relationship we build, every version of ourselves we bring to the world.
This two-hour guided workshop is an invitation to slow down long enough to listen to what our values are trying so hard to tell us.
What you will experience
Through an expansive visualisation, a personal values exercise, and guided reflection, you will move from a vague sense of what matters to a clear, named set of 6 to 8 core values that are genuinely yours.
You will leave with:
- Your core values identified and written down
- A clearer sense of where you are living in alignment and where you are not
- Practical direction for the decisions and choices ahead
- A sense of having been heard, in a warm and non-judgemental space

About the facilitator
Amy Sutton mBACP, also known as Amy, The Freedom Therapist is a integrative therapist, counsellor and personal development facilitator based in Bournemouth. Her work is rooted in the belief that understanding what you truly value is one of the most powerful steps towards living a freer, more intentional life.
With a specialism in anxiety, self-esteem, identity, and relationships. Her practice, Freedom Counselling, is built on a simple conviction; that real change begins when people stop living by other people's rules and start understanding what genuinely matters to them.
Amy's approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, somatic work, humanistic and existential therapy. She is not a passive presence in a room but an engaged, honest, and warmly challenging one.
This workshop brings together the psychological frameworks she uses with clients every day, distilled into a two-hour experience that is both practical and genuinely transformative.
At the heart of Amy's work is a question she returns to again and again with her clients: what do you actually value, and are you living it? This workshop was born from that question. It brings together the tools, research, and depth of her clinical practice in a space that is warm, non-judgemental, and genuinely life-giving.
She is a member of BACP and Pink Therapy, and is fully inclusive in her practice, welcoming of all identities, relationship structures, and backgrounds.
