Can short verses, with humour and longing, illuminate critical aspects of meditation, and help refine one's approach? How does a modern, heart-based meditation practice relate to centuries-old poems? Love burns bright in this short poetic selection, and you are welcome to enjoy its wit and depth.
This session will include a short presentation, relaxation, and meditation … there will also be time to connect and chat around a warm drink.
Heartfulness is a set of meditation practices derived from Raja Yoga, adapting ancient techniques to modern ways of life. It is a gentle, self-moderating system that aims to balance the mind and foster simplicity and clarity. Over time we develop empathy and compassion, greater self-awareness and happiness.
