Raise Your Profile Beyond Social Media with Plan Make Do

Social media is a great platform for your creative business - but it isn't the only platform you should consider for your business! Join Laura in this interactive workshop and upskill in raising your profile.
Event description

Based on the recent global outage and many other factors, social media shouldn't be the only platform you use to raise your profile and boost your creative business.

This interactive workshop will show you how to build your profile both online and offline, without having to rely solely on social media.

We will cover these key areas:

  • Website and alternative approach to social platforms
  • Building effective newsletters/mailing list ideas
  • Considering earned media coverage online (podcasts, blogs, radio etc) and in print
  • Other offline marketing inspirations to build your profile

There will also be a short Q&A session after the talk with Laura followed by an hour long group-led discussion on this topic, facilitated by the Creative Hub leader at TOSH.

"This was such a helpful talk, thank you so much for guiding us through the mind-boggling world of building a presence (both online and offline), I don't know how you managed to pack so many useful tools and so much information into your presentation and it didn't feel rushed, wow! Felt good about where to take things next after it, thank you!"
