Aroha Yin Yoga is for every body and any body. We are open to all. We are accessible. Yin Yoga is a meditative style of yoga that concentrates on gentle stretches, muscle tensions and compressions, which are designed to help you relax and unwind. Each yoga pose is held for a few minutes so students can feel how their bodies react to new sensations as their nervous systems are activated and connect body and mind in unison. Our classes begin with an inspiring mindfulness meditation that prepares our students to explore a variety of yin yoga poses, accompanied by soothing ambient music and sentimental piano and strings to help bring about calm and clarity. Yin yoga is a timeout to chill from our busy lives.
Ben supplies mats, bolsters, blankets and blocks - so you don't need to bring anything to these classes.
Spaces are limited to just 10 mats so the experience is intimate and cosy.
